Buy a tee, hoodie, beanie, or notebook in the colour of your choice - it’s the best way to support the festival. All proceeds go to making the festival better - paying performers, buying/renting sets, renting venues, the works.
All items are print-on-demand, have multiple colour options, and can be shipped directly to your home! However, if you’d prefer on-site pickup at the festival, just select that during checkout and we’ll have it ready for you at the merch table.
Festival pickup is no longer available, but that’s OK - everything can be shipped straight to your home!

IMPRO Amsterdam is committed to treating improv like the real theatrical art form that it is. That means paying our performers, staff, teachers, and hosts fairly, having quality sets and staging, and excellent venues. All of this costs a lot of money.
We were looking for a way to raise more money in a way that kept the festival accessible (no raising ticket prices - indeed, we’d love to lower them someday) but still provided something back to folks spending money (instead of simply donating). We also noticed that there wasn’t a lot of general improv merch available online. So, we thought - why can’t we provide it?
All profit from the IMPROshop goes right back into the festival, allowing us to achieve future goals such as paying all performers (not just mainstage), raising rates across the board, doing better promotion (to draw a larger general audience that will, hopefully, continue to enjoy improv throughout the year in local venues) and paying staff.

We work with Printful, a print on demand service that allows us to fulfill your order as close to you geographically as possible and ship directly to you. That means that we can ship worldwide while minimizing both shipping cost and environmental impact.

Currently, all merch is designed by Erica Maity, the Artistic Director of IMPRO Amsterdam. However, we’d love to expand - if you have a design you’d like to donate, please fill out the contact form below!

We’d love that! Fill out the info form below or email pr@impro-amsterdam.nl. We reserve the right to only select designs that we feel work with the line we’re developing.
Right now, we are only looking for donated designs - we’re on a tight budget. We hope in the future to be able to pay a fair flat rate for designs, but we’re not quite there yet.

In-person pickup was available until 8 February to allow for enough time for your item to be received by us pre-festival. We’ll re-open festival pickup next year!

Absolutely not, as much as we’d love it! We will have very limited stock of festival-specific merch, each in a single color.
We STRONGLY recommend pre-ordering both so that you have color choice and so that you can guarantee that your size will be available!
We will have the capability to take orders at the festival as well, and we hope to have samples of most available merch. So, feel free to window shop and order with us!

We picked the lowest prices that we could that:
provided some small profit
allowed for consistent pricing across sizes (those who need bigger sizes should not be punished financially for it)
met fairly standard rates for tees/hoodies/etc.

Unfortunately, because all items are print on demand, we are unable to accept returns. However, we can exchange items at the festival with other items we have on hand, namely logo tees, hoodies, and hats (swapping like for like, as in hoodies for hoodies, tees for tees, and hats for hats).
Size guides
To find your size, select a tee or hoodie that fits you well and measure the length (from the top of the shirt just to the left or right of the neck hole to the hem) and width (from left to right just under the sleeves). Then, match below!

Hoodies run a little small, so if you’re not sure go a size up.
