IMPRO Amsterdam is run by a team of dedicated improv nerds from around the world who all reside in the Netherlands. They’re all friendly - feel free to get in touch!
Erica Maity
Artistic Director & Head of Production
Erica started improvising in the United States over a decade ago but has called the Netherlands home for three years. She has been on casts with Curious Comedy Theater (Portland, OR, US) and Florida Studio Theater (Sarasota, FL, US) and has performed in well over a dozen festivals internationally. She currently performs with the groups Tailored Swiftly and As Seen on TV and teaches and coaches both independently and in collaboration with the Improv Community of Eindhoven.

Bodei Brouwer
Artistic Angel (co-Artistic Director)
Bodei has been involved with IMPRO Amsterdam for over a decade: as cast member, volunteer, production team member and this year as both co-artistic director and format director.
She started on her improv path 12 years ago and had since played, trained and taught on 5 continents. She is the artistic director of Longform at Amsterdam's easylaughs and together with Erica Maity she forms the duo Tailored Swiftly.

Nina Wolfram
Operations Coordinator
Nina is a long-term Amsterdammer who hails originally from Germany. She’s a fierce improviser who has performed with the easylaughs Musical Ensemble in Amsterdam. At IMPRO Amsterdam, Nina is responsible for the nuts and bolts necessary for running a festival including booking venues, coordinating with vendors, and making sure everyone is where they need to be. Don’t let her favorite earrings (bloody knives) fool you - she’s actually nice.

Shane Alpert
Administrator
Shane is a New York City girl who has been living in the Netherlands for years. She is that rare blend of right and left brain - she’s a brilliant improviser and director (and performs regularly with her troupe Holy Spot in Eindhoven) who also gets great joy out of organizing spreadsheets and sending emails. You can find her leading drop-in sessions for the Improv Community of Eindhoven (where she is also an organizer) or onstage in Amsterdam or Eindhoven.

Chi Chan
Financial Manager
Chi is an improviser and storyteller with deep roots in Amsterdam. He’s also a financial wizard - he makes sure we manage our money safely and responsibly. He also works with funding organizations and subsidy providers to help us get the money we need to make the best fest possible. On top of this, he’s an avid photographer who manages our team of volunteer photogs at the fest.

Isaac Simon
PR & Marketing Lead
Isaac has been doing make-em-ups for over 20 years. He’s the co-founder of Tag Out Theatre and the Amsterdam Improv Marathon and was an assistant director for the Barcelona Improv Group in a previous life. Isaac is a specialist in freeform and science fiction improv, performs with Cliffs of Dover and Land of Giants, originated a wild solo show, and teaches from time to time. Turns out, Isaac is also an experienced marketer and comms person. Kismet, am I right?
