Welcome to the Established Groups application for IMPRO Amsterdam 2025! If you’re part of an established group with a format or show that’s practiced and mainstage ready, you’re in the right place.
This year’s festival will run from 15 to 22 February 2025 in Amsterdam Noord, centered around 't Zonnehuis (Zonneplein 30, 1033 EK Amsterdam).
Any group is welcome to apply to perform! We are looking for a wide variety of shows, performers and styles, and will select from the groups that apply to create the best, most varied schedule possible for the festival.
We are looking to create a dynamic, varied schedule for this year’s festival. That means there’s space for all sorts of styles, approaches, and performer backgrounds. We also love to platform groups who, for whatever reason, tend to be underrepresented on the global improv stage.
For our main stage, we are looking for groups that are established, have been regularly performing together, and have a practiced show (that can be done in 50 minutes) that they’d like to bring to our audience.
If that’s not you (as in, if you’re a fresh group, new to the international scene, a collective of experienced improvisers that want to try something new, you haven’t performed together in a long time, or you’re an established group that wants to try something experimental), fear not - click directly over to our New Formats application!
If your group is selected to perform, the festival offers:
* Doesn't apply to performers that are already part of the IMPRO Amsterdam Cast - you’re either already covered per the Cast agreement or you’re local.
** The transportation and accommodation allowance is set to a maximum for 5 performers. If your cast has more than 5 performers and you agree to split the maximum allowance - 500€ for transportation and 500€ for accommodation - amongst yourselves, please apply anyway!
If your team is selected but your entire cast (as per this form) cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to make it work, but this may lead to the cancellation of the invitation in favor of a group that commit in full to the performance.
If selected, your show can be scheduled any day from 15–22 February, so please double check your availability!
The form to apply will be open until 30 September, 2024.
We will let you know whether or not you have been selected before the end of October.
